Coffee on its way to the retail trade: safe carton filling

This high-performance picker line was installed at a Hanseatic coffee manufacturer to package coffee units from 25 g to 1,000 g. Two pickers carton up to 120 tubular bags per minute. An erector places the cartons parallel to the picker line. The first picker fills the carton up to 70%, the downstream picker fills the carton exactly to 100%. Downstream, the packed cartons are transported further for labeling.

With the HLP 6000 high-performance layer palletizer from the HLP series, TRAPO presents a modular system with three basic variants that can be adapted to any space situation. Precise layer formation – here with parallel kinematics – forms the cornerstone for the safe transport of foodstuffs. The HLP 6000 palletizes up to ten layers per minute.

A TRAPO solution that convinces through the use of a lifting column in combination with a magnetic or vacuum gripper: It enables efficient High-Speed Layer Depalletizer (HLDP series) of around 1,500 empty cans per minute. The machine is operated at ground level – the usual competitive platform is omitted in favor of safety.

TRAPO competence in the warehouse

At the warehouse, one or more TRAPO Warehouse Shuttles (TWS series) take over goods as required. The TWS accelerates at 1.5 m/s² and completes the cycle of extending, gripping and retracting in a maximum of three seconds. The racking system is modular and flexibly expandable. Consequently, performance can be significantly increased at any time with additional TWS and additive lifting devices.

Loading and unloading autonomously in the care sector

The TRAPO Loading System (TLS 3600) is a driverless, compact transport system with a lifting unit that can load three pallets simultaneously into a truck. In the process, it corrects its position automatically. This continuous loading process saves time and distance and allows a 13-meter trailer with 33 pallets to be loaded in about 15 minutes. This TLS was manufactured from stainless steel as a special solution for use in the care area of JERMI Käsewerk GmbH.

TRAPO wrote the first chapter of its success story with conveyor technology. Today, rigid, proven components are just as much a part of the product range as mobile conveyor lines. We have special expertise in the field of hygienic design for care areas. Made in Germany – the entire portfolio of conveyor systems is manufactured at our headquarters in Gescher-Hochmoor. There, special components for the special needs of the food and beverage industry are produced in the stainless steel production. In this application, pretzels from several lines are brought together.

Monitor plants – evaluate data – avoid downtime!

Partial and complete plants in the food and beverage industry can be controlled, monitored and configured by the control instance TIM, the TRAPO Intelligent Management System. TIM forms the reliable link to production plants. Management-relevant figures for the entire plant can be called up at any time and contribute directly to plant optimization and increased results. The actual data analysis can be used uniformly – with limited authorizations for the respective user level. TIM can be integrated into existing systems.
